New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center
FEATURED PROJECT
PUBLIC ART PROGRAM | CALL TO ARTISTS
Dumez Development Group managed the Call to Artists process for the Convention Center's landmark public art initiative. Responsibilities included developing the artist solicitation, coordinating communications, managing submissions, facilitating the selection process, and serving as liaison between the owner, artists, and project stakeholders.
The result is a curated public art program that celebrates New Orleans' and Louisiana's culture while enhancing one of the region's most significant civic destinations.

MISSION
This project seeks to identify and amplify a myriad of artists' voices, moving in the spirit of true inclusion, and working with artists that represent as wide a swath of the community as possible, including both seasoned and emerging talent. By bringing their art into the Convention Center, we invite the world to experience Louisiana not only through its industry but through its imagination. This project is not just about filling walls. It is about embedding Louisiana’s creative spirit into the heart of a space.
